Youth Co-Design Cities of Learning - Study Visit in Cagliari

Young Reporter in Cagliari

The holder of this badge has taken the role of Young Reporter in the Study Visit organised in Cagliari (Italy) from the 22nd to the 26th of November 2021 in the framework of Erasmus+ KA3 project Cities of Learning: Youth Co-design learning, civic and career pathways.

The Study Visit involved 20 young people coming from 8 different Cities and Regions of Learning in Europe, together with 15 other participants coming to Cagliari alongside them to participate in the Third Partners’ Meeting of the project.

During the study visit, a team of Young Reporters was created to take care of communication and increase the event’s visibility on- and offline.
Young Reporters have developed several competencies, and especially:
  1. Digital skills: social media management, taking and editing photos and videos, creating content using apps and digital tools.
  2. Communication: being in charge of communication and visibility for the whole duration of the study visit, coordinated by the main project’s communication team.
  3. Social and intercultural skills: visiting the city and learning about the local culture, meeting new people from different cultural backgrounds and practicing their English speaking skills by communicating with their peers and creating content for disseminating the Study Visit’s results.
  4. Entrepreneurship: self-organizing, managing a small team and choosing what to promote and how when sharing information about the project and Study Visit.

This Study Visit was organised by Associazione Interculturale Nur, local partner of Cagliari Metropolitan City of Learning, in cooperation with the Network of Cities and Regions of Learning, and it involved participants coming from the Cities and Regions of Learning of Sachsen-Anhalt (Germany), Cagliari (Italy), Vilnius (Lithuania), Tilburg (Netherlands), Tønsberg and Vestfold-og-Telemark (Norway), Novi Sad (Serbia), Ljubljana (Slovenia) and Lorca (Spain).
This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union.
