This badge certificate is a micro-credential that confirms the person's participation in the international study visit for organisation managers on networking and advocacy in international youth work settings.
The residential study visit took place in Belgium from June 15th to 19th, 2025. 40 hours of work (equals 1,5 European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System - ECTS) is the estimated time the learner invested to achieve the following learning outcomes at International Standard Classification of Education - ISCED level 5:
Willingness to collaborate with other actors and stakeholders; Ability to network with a variety of external systems and actors; Appreciation of the added value of new partnership and collaboration opportunities; Knowledge of youth policy and youth work in one’s own context; Being able to identify relevant partners in different environments (especially in an international setting); Ability to research and access relevant information; Knowledge of how structural and systemic obstacles can limit people’s possibility to act in solidarity; Knowledge about mobility-related regulations regarding young people; Ability to transfer/communicate and share the learning potential of international mobility experiences; Being able to identify relevant partners in different environments (especially in an international setting); Knowledge about media and promotion mechanisms with regard to youth work, as well as rules and regulations, including copyright; Knowledge about digital tools for networking and collaboration, and more inclusive approaches.
The participant could voluntarily choose to participate in the study visit through a non-formal programme and informal learning activities. The learner could choose to submit evidence of learning outcomes to nine out of fourteen digital Open Badges required to earn this badge certificate. Peer review supported participants' reflection and understanding of learning outcomes. During the study visit, the facilitation team issued badges and reviewed and approved badge evidence.
This certification is aligned with the European Training Strategy (ETS) competence model for youth workers. The activity organisers have obtained Erasmus+ Accreditation to facilitate learning mobility for youth workers and trainers, ensuring compliance with quality standards in EU-funded youth mobility programmes. The Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps Programmes National Agency in Lithuania evaluated the quality and approved accreditation to carry out this study visit activity.
