We want you to utilise your half term holiday to better understand how you experience the things around you and how you engage with them through your senses.

Task no.1

Experience the sense of sight. Find an object inside your home that makes you happy when you see it. Describe it using only 5 words and upload a photo of the object.

We can hear you..now let’s move on to the sense of sound. When you are at home and relaxing, what is your go-to song? What is it about the song that helps you relax? Describe the song and share the youtube link.

Smell is one the senses that triggers a lot of memories and feelings. Is there a smell that you are used to smelling and it reminds you of your home? What is that smell? Where in your home can you smell it? Is there a story behind that? Write down the smell and the story behind it.

Along with smell, taste is also one of the important senses that trigger a lot of memories and feelings. What food makes you lick your lips and you want to savour the taste in your mouth for a long time? Share the food you like and why you think you like it.

Last but not least, here comes the sense of touch. Is there an object or a surface you like the touch of? Close your eyes and describe what it is and why you think you like the texture and feel of it?
