The forum's main objective is to finalise drafting policy recommendations by the young people on the topics
chosen by them. The forum seeks to bring together young people and youth workers to work together on a set of policy recommendations that will be presented to local and European decision-makers. The recommendations will be related to:
  • mental health,
  • inclusion,
  • participation,
  • sustainability and
  • non-formal learning.

The topics were derived from International Research done by the partners of the "Youth Co-Design Cities and Regions of Learning project", within the Cities and Regions of learning family.

You are kindly invited to thoroughly read the International report and later on, individually explore the 5 topics and what do they mean to you. For each topic we ask you to:
  • Find a documentary (or other) film that explores the content in general or a specific aspect of it.
  • Find a podcast, online lecture or informative video that talks about the topic or individual element the topics relates to.
  • Find a article, blog or a book that explores the topic or a detailed contents within the topic.
  • Find a good practice example of a method, technique, activity of organisation that deals with the topic we are exploring.

The recipient of this badge will attend the "Cities and Regions of Learning" Youth Forum - as a final event of the "Young people Co-Design Cities of Learning" project, that will take place between between 15th and 19th of July 2022 in Magdeburg, Germany.

In preparation for the event he/she thoroughly read the International report and later on, individually explored the 5 topics and what do they mean to him/her.

For each topic he/she
  • Found a documentary (or other) film that explores the topic content in general or a specific aspect of it.
  • Found a podcast, online lecture or informative video that talks about the topic or individual element the topics relates to.
  • Found a article, blog or a book that explores the topic or a detailed contents within the topic.
  • Found a good practice example of a method, technique, activity of organisation that deals with the topic we are exploring.

Task no.1
Evidence verified by: one activity organiser
Read out the International Research Report. Share your thoughts about it:
  • What stood out for you?
  • What surprised you?
  • Is something missing in your eyes?
  • What is your view on the Global Youth Skills and Archetypes of the future?
  • Do the 5 topics (mental health, inclusion, participation, sustainability and non-formal learning) make sense?

And now on to individual exploration of the topic INCLUSION.
