The “Eco tips in action: DIY natural toothpaste” workshop aims at supporting you to identify your own potential for sustainability and how you can actively contribute to improve prospects for the community and the planet. Throughout the workshop you will be encouraged to reflect on your sustainability values and how they align to sustainability as a shared goal.

At the end of the “Eco tips in action: DIY natural toothpaste” workshop, you will have a broader understanding of the impact of your choices and habits as well as the power you have as a consumer as as a citizen. You will have a better understanding of what sustainability means to you, what your values are and how your actions are or aren’t in line with your values.

Activity

While creating your own toothpaste, you could answer the following questions:
1. What impact do you make on nature and how do you support it?
2. How does our well-being depends on the well-being of nature?
3. Share an inspirational environmental resource (books, documentaries, movies, people, songs)
4. What are your sustainability values and how do they influence your assumptions, arguments and actions?
5. How do your sustainability values differ/are similar to other people's values, and how do you negotiate them and accept differences?
6. What eco role model do you have?
7. How do you put your sustainability values into action?
8. What challenges are you ready to take up to change your unsustainable practices and try alternative solutions?
