Often things will change, sometimes without much warning - either in work or in other aspects of your life - and adaptability is the way you respond to those changes. Sometimes those changes might be encountering people with different working styles or personalities, and sometimes it might be alterations to a project’s deadline or requirements. So having the ability to respond calmly and efficiently to change is a great asset and will make you more capable and reliable in unexpected situations, and ultimately more successful in your work.

  • Reflecting on which of these skills they need to develop most
  • Discovering businesses or people who have adapted to change and identifying their qualities
