Participate in the international study visit focused on the European Youth Goals (EYG) in Cities of Learning. Join a very exciting programme to:
  • get to know good practices of youth activities focused on the EYG;
  • analyse how the EYG can be related to local youth realities;
  • understand the EYG and how to measure success;
  • get know partners, our areas of work, strengths and goals.

Participants from Greece, Lithuania, Finland and Belgium will join the study visit programme. You will meet other youth leaders and youth workers and will visit local organisations and projects contributing to the EYG.

This Study visit is a part of the European Youth Goals in Cities of Learning cooperation partnership (read more about this project) implemented by four partner organisations:
  • System&G, lead partner in Greece
  • CODEC, Belgium
  • Badgecraft, Lithuania
  • System&G Finland

The EU Erasmus+ programme co-funded this activity.

Join the study visit in the Thessaloniki City of Learning hosted by Kids in Action and ActionAid organisations managing youth work activities in the city.

Kids in Action brings in contact, inspires and motivates young people to take action and participate. Festivals, concerts, street theatre, exhibitions, performances are organized and held in central squares and streets of the city.

At the ActionAid Center in Thessaloniki, young people have the opportunity to gain knowledge, apply it to real examples, create, network and meet people, participate in voluntary actions, gain self-confidence and ultimately bring the change they want in their city.

Participants will visit the ActionAid Center and will meet organisations' members to discover their local and international activities. During the visit, participants will get to know about:
  • Thessaloniki City of Learning;
  • challenges and opportunities;
  • testimonies from local partners;
  • presentation of the created playlist and their relevance to the European Youth Goals.

Based on this experience, participants will share and discuss ideas how to implement actions contributing to European Youth Goals in their cities.
