At DAY 3 of your Talent Journey you meet your 'IKIGAI!'
'IKIGAI' stands for: REASON FOR BEING
Imagine waking up every morning with a big smile because you're going to do something you really love, something you're good at, something you can get paid for, and something that makes the world a better place. That’s what ikigai is all about!
Think of four overlapping circles:
What you love: These are your favorite things to do, like your hobbies or activities that make you excited.
What you are good at: These are the things you excel in or can learn to do well.
What you can be paid for: These are jobs or projects that allow you to earn money, so you can buy things you need or want.
What the world needs: These are ways you can help others or make a positive impact on society.
If you find something that lies in the middle of these four circles, you’ve found your ikigai. It means you're doing something you enjoy, you're good at, you can get paid for, and that helps the world. This makes your life feel meaningful and happy.
For example, let's say you love drawing (what you love) and you're good at it (what you are good at). Maybe you can become a comic artist (what you can be paid for) and create stories that inspire or make people think (what the world needs). That could be your ikigai!
