Teave

This is the 5th of 9 Virtual Exchanges that we are implementing in the framework of the project Cities of Learning: Youth Co-design learning, civic and career pathways.

We are once again working closely with the team behind the Youth Pathways to Leadership Vol.3 training course, because this Virtual Exchange is for all the young leaders and young people getting ready to participate in the Youth Seminar that will take place in Lorca, Spain, at the beginning of April 2022.
During the Seminar, young people will be taking the lead and facilitating some workshops and activities, and they’ll start working on the youth policy recommendations to be presented to EU decision makers later on and that our project is all about.
Together, we will:
  • reconnect with the young leaders’ group, and welcome new participants to the family with a bit of team building
  • go through the participants’ plans for the Seminar and give them shape: what are the topics of the activities and why were they chosen, what are the goals and how they wish to achieve them, how will they approach the facilitation and what kind of support is needed from the training team
  • plan next steps and individual mentoring sessions to further develop each workshop together with the training team before the Seminar
  • explore digital Open Badges for learning recognition
  • have fun and meet people coming from different European countries

The Virtual Exchange will start at 17:00 CET on Zoom and it will last about 1h30.
This activity is aimed at young people who will participate in the Youth Seminar taking place in Lorca at the beginning of April, and particularly to those who have taken part in the Youth Pathways to Leadership training course and who will facilitate or co-facilitate an activity during the Seminar. Participants are aged 16-30 and coming from the Cities and Regions of Learning of Sachsen-Anhalt (Germany), Cagliari (Italy), Vilnius (Lithuania), Tilburg (Netherlands), Tønsberg and Vestfold-og-Telemark (Norway), Novi Sad (Serbia), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Lorca (Spain).

To participate, register HERE until Wednesday 16th of March.

I have participated in the 5th of 9 Virtual Exchanges that we are implementing in the framework of the project Cities of Learning: Youth Co-design learning, civic and career pathways (CLYouth or Youth Co-Design) and organised by the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and Associazione Interculturale Nur.

In this meeting aimed at getting ready for the Youth Seminar taking place in Lorca, Spain, in April 2022, participants have:
  • worked on making their plans for the upcoming Youth Seminar more concrete: finalising which activities they’re planning, how they’re approaching them, what their goals and expected outcomes are, what kind of support they will need from the team
  • planned the next steps before the Youth Seminar, and specifically the individual mentoring sessions with the Youth Pathways to Leadership training team
  • learned about Cities and Regions of Learning and CLYouth
  • learned about digital Open Badges for learning recognition

The Virtual Exchange has taken place online on March 17th 2022.
