This illustration is inspired by a local market we visited during our artist residency in Serbia. It's a place that from a tourist point of view is overlooked, but it allowed me to see more of the daily life and routine of the local people, so I wanted to depict that. Also, the cabbages depicted are a nod to the typical food we were offered during our stay.
