Why Youth Engagement?

In Cities of Learning Network, we aim to engage, connect and empower young people to shape local, regional, national and European youth policies. Methods and activities we used/offer are the followig:
  1. Engaging young people in youth consultation activities about their needs, interests and capacity within the Cities of Learning cooperation framework via online surveys, focus groups, participatory workshops, and mapping activities.
  2. Connecting young people through Virtual Exchanges, international youth exchanges and volunteering opportunities. We aim to provide in person and virtual activities where young people meet to exchange current European themes; intercultural learning, non-formal learning, and take part in peer education.
  3. Empowering young people through co-designing learning pathways, and youth ambassadors’ activities we support network members to coach youth groups, offer them training courses, participatory workshops and establish local young ambassadors groups.
