To be emotionally intelligent, one should first acquire a feeling of self-awareness. Self-awareness is about learning who you are and why you behave and feel in particular ways. Once you begin to understand this concept, the possibilities are endless. You can start cultivating self-compassion and change things about yourself enabling you to craft a life that suits your aspirations, values, and needs.

The worksheet for this topic will give you an opportunity to reflect on strengths and weaknesses, values, inner self-talk, and more. At the end of this activity, you will get a sense of how you can practice the skill of self-awareness.
