You implement your own ideas, organise meetings, and act as a mentor for others. Your voice matters in decision-making, and partners recognise your role in the growth of the network.
By completing this activity, you will:
- Take on larger tasks that require planning, organisation, and responsibility.
- Implement your own initiatives with support if needed.
- Contribute actively to your organisation and network’s strategy and development.
- Support and coach younger participants in the peer-to-peer system.
Possible roles at this level: meeting organiser, peer coach, social media officer, badge manager.

This badge is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, responsibility, and mentorship within the Young Co(L)-Creators (local or international) programme of the Cities of Learning Network. As a peer coach, you have taken on significant tasks and responsibilities, contributing to the development and strategic direction of the network.
This badge is given to young people from the Cities of Learning environment, which are fulfilling at least one of the following criteria:
- Undertaking larger tasks with higher levels of responsibility, showcasing your deep understanding of the network’s operations.
- Implementing your own ideas and initiatives within the network, with support as needed, to drive innovation and growth.
- Actively participating in strategic discussions and decision-making processes, with your opinions and ideas being highly valued by partners.
- Coaching and mentoring young people at lower levels of the programme, sharing your experiences, knowledge, and insights to support their development and engagement.
- Contributing to the peer coaching system by providing guidance, feedback, and encouragement to newer participants.
- Attending the Young Co(L)-Creators team meetings to stay informed and aligned with the programme’s goals and initiatives.
