In this activity, you’ll move from learning to applying.
You’ll explore how the NEBComp competences can be used to tackle real challenges, from designing greener public spaces to increasing cultural inclusion or launching creative businesses.
Choose one real-world problem or context, and map how selected competences from NEBComp could help address it.
1️⃣ Choose a real-world community challenge
This could be from your own city, neighborhood, school, workplace, or a case from the gallery.
The following examples are here to inspire you or if you already have one, stick to it.
- An abandoned urban lot with no community use
- A local museum struggling to attract diverse visitors
- Lack of youth engagement in rural cultural centers
- Overconsumption and waste in fashion and design
- Lack of visibility for local artists or marginalized groups
- Poor accessibility of public spaces
2️⃣ Connect NEBComp competences to this challenge
Now pick 3–5 competences from NEBComp that could help address this challenge.
For each:
