Welcome to the Cities of Learning Network’s Virtual Exchanges, an opportunity for young people from all Cities, Regions and Islands of Learning to connect, exchange, have fun and learn together!

This exchange, called Reconnecting You(th)!, has the goal to reconnect the young people who participated in the Youth Forum that took place in Magdeburg (Germany) in July 2022, and to connect them with other young people coming from several cities, regions and islands of learning, in order to exchange ideas, discuss future initiatives and promote active youth participation within the Cities and Regions of Learning Network.

Together, we will:
reconnect with the group of participants from last year’s Youth Forum and welcome new young people to the family
evaluate the Youth Forum’s long-term impact and reflect on how our learning paths have developed since
assess the impact of the policy recommendations developed at the Youth Forum and discuss future plans for disseminating them further
learn about the new opportunities for learning, exchanging, volunteering and active participation aimed at young people within the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and identify ways for further engagement
explore digital Open Badges for learning recognition
have fun and meet people coming from different European countries

The Virtual Exchange will start at 17:30 CEST on Zoom and it will last approximately 1h30.
This activity is aimed at young people aged 16-30 coming from any of the Cities, Regions and Islands of Learning.

I have participated in the Virtual Exchange “Reconnecting You(th)!” organised and implemented by the Cities and Regions of Learning Network in the framework of a series of activities carried out for promoting engagement of young people throughout the cities, regions and islands of learning across Europe.

In this meeting, aimed at reconnecting with young people who took part in the Youth Forum held in Magdeburg (Germany) in July 2022, participants have:
developed their digital competences
reflected on their learning path and evaluated the Youth Forum’s long-term impact
assessed the impact of the policy recommendations developed at the Youth Forum at local and international level and discussed future initiatives for further disseminating the recommendations
learned about new opportunities for learning, exchanging and volunteering within the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and identified ways for further engagement
learned about the Cities and Regions of Learning Network
learned about digital Open Badges for learning recognition

The Virtual Exchange took place online on July 20th 2023, from 17:30 to 19:00 CEST.
