From Europe Direct Eindhoven, will offered the following activities related to the State of the Union.
Pre-announcement on the Europe Direct Eindhoven website.
Pre-announcement via social media, general/relevant groups in the Eindhoven region, and my own ED accounts.
The State of the Union will undoubtedly be discussed during the monthly EU roundtable of the Academic Society (Eindhoven) at 27 September in Eindhoven.
We will also view the State of the Union together with a diverse group of people, representatives from the Eindhoven region. (See also my well-known list of my networks in Eindhoven.) Whether this will be live (preferably) or afterwards. This session will definitely be listed on https://eindhoven.cityoflearning.eu/. Additional benefits: broad exposure, visibility, a map presence, and the opportunity to earn a badge (certifying their learning/learning project on the EU). This last point is particularly interesting for young people, especially in combination with schools.
The purpose of the aforementioned session is primarily to listen carefully, discuss, and explore the questions and the consequences for EU citizens/companies. I'm especially curious about the participants' questions. The location is Parktheater Eindhoven, but other locations are also possible. Attendance: There's actually no maximum. But let's conservatively estimate: 20 people.
The output, including the questions, will be collected.
(Perhaps it would be fun and beneficial to connect this with the EU Committee in some way...).
We will test whether this format—watching the video and then holding a session—is also feasible for and at schools.
