One of the core emotional intelligence skills is self-motivation. It is an initiative to undertake or continue a task or activity without another's prodding or supervision. 
The following video by Absolute Motivation will give you a good introduction to the science behind self-motivation. The worksheet for this topic will give you an opportunity to reflect on things you have heard in the video. It will also ask you to look at your daily life checking whether you can challenge some problems.
