To earn this badge, youth workers must:
1. Download and complete the Activity Design Template
Fill in the provided document, covering the following elements:
- Planning: Define the purpose, goals, and target group of the treasure hunt
- Preparation: Outline clues, locations (physical or digital), roles, and needed materials/tools
- Implementation: Describe how you will lead the activity
- Follow-up: Include evaluation methods, participant feedback, and any next steps
2. Lead the Treasure Hunt Activity
Deliver the activity with a group of learners. Take note of how it worked in practice, any challenges, and participant engagement.
3. Download & complete the Activity Report Template covering the following elemnts:
- Documentation of Your Digital Treasure Hunt
- Reflect on the feedback you received after your concept presentation.
- Discuss what you would change next time based on your experience and that input and how other implemented treasure hunts may have inspired your own.
- Summarize your key insights: “What are the essential steps for a successful digital treasure hunt?”
4. Write a Personal reflection on the experience:
• How did you feel during the planning, preparation, implementation and reflection process?
• What did you gain from the experience – personally or professionally?
All Steps must be completed and review by a course facilitator to receive the badge.
